Local Tradie is a New Zealand owned company setup to provide local tradespeople with an affordable solution to having an effective online presence in todays competitive business environment. Our parent company specialises in developing websites and online solutions for small to medium sized businesses using the latest technology, search engine optimisation and web coding standards.
Local Tradie is not just another generic directory website, it’s an effective, easy to use platform for connecting tradespeople with customers. We will be working hard over the next year setting up more territories in the South Island as Local Tradie aims to have the most comprehensive and informative local trades directory in New Zealand by 2014.

Local Tradie is a powerful directory service specifically designed for connecting customers with tradespeople and independent trade contractors. Local Tradie allows tradespeople to create high quality optimised web pages packed with useful features and information to gain exposure online & engage with their clients.
Users can search our extensive database of over 1200 businesses across 30 different trades, or request a quote from tradespeople in their area. Users can then rate and review the performance of their tradies and leave comments for other users to make informed decisions and save their favourite tradespeople for future use.

Where to next for Local Tradie
We’re rolling out our service in Christchurch and the surrounding areas of Canterbury first as we believe it’s the most relevant place to start. From there we aim to have all of the South Island covered by the end of the year and will be looking into a nationwide in 2014.
Local Tradie has just finished integrating customer reviews and have developed our own job quote request service that allows our users to request quotes from selected tradies within our network. This provides our users with another hassle free way to finding a Local Tradie in their area.
