No, You don't have to register to leave a review but you do have to provide us with an email address and you can only rate each tradie once. this helps maintain transparent rating and reviews and prevent spam and threatening behaviour.

To avoid spam and abusive or threatening remarks, Local Tradie moderates each review. As soon as it is checked by an administrator, your rating and review will be displayed to the public.

We dont like spam either, our newsletters are to inform, not offend. You can remove yourself from our mailing list at any time by sending us an email or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the email you received and we will remove you from our database. Please allow a few days for these changes to take effect.

Local Tradie lets you log in and save your favourite tradies so you can access their information in the future when you need further work carried out. We find that most people like to use same tradies so this is a great way for you keep all the contact information for your most commonly used tradespeople.

Our mailing list is only used to inform you of the latest developments, promotions, competitions & information. We aim to send no more than one newsletter per month to reduce the amount of clutter to your inbox & we won't disclose any of your personal information to any 3rd parties and you may unsubscribe at any time.

Try pressing Ctrl-F5 (the Ctrl key and the F5 key at the same time). This refreshes the page and forces your browser to load the latest files from Local Tradie. This should solve any issues where your computer may have some older Local Tradie files that may cause the site to display incorrectly. If you are using a Mac, press Command-R (the Command key and the 'R' key at the same time).

Also make sure you are running the latest version of your browser, you can check for updates in your browser settings and automatically update to the latest version from there. Local Tradie displays best in the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Users may find difficulty viewing in some older version of Internet Explorer.

You can change or update the information in your listing at any time, free of charge. Any changes to artwork or images can be made upon request & may incur a small fee. We are happy to help so just contact us with the information you wish to change and we will arrange this for you.

You can upgrade your listing to a Premium or Featured package if you require more categories. For example, a business may want to list under Windows & Doors as well as Glaziers & Glass to maximise their exposure.

Our packages are designed so that you can choose between a range of features to suit your business and your budget. You own the domain name. The $50 annual fee covers management of the domain registration, redirection and email account, we set all this up for you and you are free to remove the redirect and/or change the domain nameservers as you wish. We will provide you with all the information for you to do this at your request or if you are uncomfortable doing this yourself, we can transfer this for you or make changes for a small fee.
